This week we continue our discussion of bias and compound-complex sentences. We are preparing to read the next novel, Nothing But the Truth.
Next week the ELA 7 classes will be taking a practice M-STEP test to prepare for the testing this Spring. It will also be a review and wrap up of informational essay writing, so it ties in perfectly with our units.

RDW #2—Sometimes people, even trusted sources, don’t tell us the truth. The truth gets distorted by bias, exaggeration, miscommunication, or outright lies. What are some things we should do to make sure we are seeing the whole picture? Highlight transitions and integrate and highlight the word bias. (articles attached)
